About the Jewelry

Vena-Yvonne creates collections of captivating handcrafted jewelry and glass beads designed to set the wearer apart from everyone else. Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted and made from hand selected materials. Vena-Yvonne works in sterling silver, fine silver, 14k gold filled wire, copper, bronze, precious metal clays and glass.

Vena-Yvonne’s inspiration comes from her love of the ocean and all of the life within.

About the Artist

When I was a  little girl I would go to work with my parents and watch closely as they mixed the colors of paint that would soon cover the walls.  I was mesmerized at how beautiful the paint was and how it could quickly change the look and feel of everything it touched. What was once drab and ugly was brought to life with just a few brush strokes. As I grew older, I knew I had to change the ordinary drab things around me into beautiful objects of desire. In 2004 after spending many years as a Registered Interior Designer I decided to follow my heart. I began making glass beads. I found working with molten glass hypnotic and addictive. I soon began selling my glass beads to jewelry designers and collectors all over the world.  After several years of creating glass beads for others I found myself designing my own jewelry from my one-of-a-kind glass beads. Last year after a trip to Destin, Florida my love for the “Emerald Coast” started to consume my soul. Now each day what I create is a tribute to what I have come to call “Paradise”.
